Brit Beckers graduated from the University of Antwerp with a Master in Business & Marketing, with a Post-Graduate Certificate of Secondary School Teaching. After working for the Flemish Government in Culture, Environment & Finance, she moved to Germany and later to the UK with her family, where she ran the Library for 15 years while still at the Dutch Prins Willem-Alexander School.Since the start of the International School of London in Surrey in UK in 2009, Brit has been part of the Admissions Team and the Crossroads Transition Team, looking after prospective and new families from the moment they make their inquiry until after the children arrive in school. This includes the admissions administration via the OpenApply online Admissions system, touring prospective families, providing a warm welcome to new families into our ISL Surrey community and the management of the Student Database, while ISL Surrey has been expanding from 80 to 250 students.She is also Transport Coordinator and first aider in the school.Brit loves travelling and discovering new cultures and people. She is a member of the Orde van den Prince, a worldwide Dutch-Flemish Society for Language and Culture. She is also a UK Representative of the worldwide network of Flemish people. In 1996, she founded the Flemish Club for Flemish families in Surrey. These hobbies are all welcoming experiences to add more value to her job at ISL Surrey.
