Kat's first job was in hospitality and food services management at the Hyatt Regency, Manila. This evolved into a career in retail management as well as a university lecturer. A global citizen for the last 22 years, Kat joined Jakarta Intercultural School as Director of Admissions in 2015. Her experience with customer service, marketing, business management, and working with intercultural teams help her lead the admissions office to respond nimbly to the evolving landscape of international school admissions. Kat is a mom of 4 boys. With mom hat on, she has applied to over 20 schools and has seen her family transition through 9 schools. Kat likes to decompress by baking and is known as JIS's queen of desserts.
